A large part of what we do at New River health centers involves providing preventive
health care and education to you and your family. We strive to improve and protect
your health through health risk tracking and education. If you have a chronic
condition, such as diabetes or high blood pressure, we will send you reminders
and schedule appointments for you to visit us for regular check-ups. We will
remind our women patients of the time for follow-up pap smear and mammography
checks. We will also inform the parents of young children when it is time for
immunizations and well-child checks. All these services are aimed at fostering
healthier patients and lifestyles in our community.
For more information on these and other services, or to schedule a health screening
examination, please call us at (304) 469-2905.
