Women's Health Care
at New River Health Association

All NRHA women's preventive health services are provided by certified nurse midwives and an obstetrician/gynecologist. Our women's health services include: annual examinations, pap smears, BSE (breast-self examination) instruction, pregnancy tests and family planning services.

We offer complete evaluation, prenatal care and delivery services to the expectant mother at either our birth center or the hospital. New River Women's Health & Birth Center services include: childbirth classes, education about how to take care of yourself during your pregnancy, psychological counseling and help getting the benefits you might be eligible for.
